Abstract
Liquid-liquid equilibrium data for tert-amyl ethyl ether + methanol + water were measured experimentally at (298.15, 308.15, and 318.15) K, and correl ated with the NRTL and UNIQUAC equations. The correlation was made to each temperature and for the three temperatures simultaneously. The best results were found with the UNIQUAC and NRTL (alpha = 0.1), respectively. Data pre diction was carried out using the UNIFAC method, but results were not quant itative.
