Abstract
Excess molar enthalpies, H-m(E), and excess molar volumes, V-m(E), of binar y mixtures containing 1,3-dioxolane or 1,4-dioxane + alpha -pinene, + beta -pinene, or + p-cymene were determined at (298.15 and 313.15) K and at atmo spheric pressure over the entire composition range using a flow microcalori meter and a digital density meter. H-m(E) and V-m(E), are always positive, and the temperature dependence is more marked for V-m(E) values. Results we re fitted to the Redlich-Kister polynomials to obtain the binary adjustable parameters and the standard deviations.
