A special case in the theory of isotropic chiral media is considered.
The images for sources near the interface of chiral half spaces with a
n arbitrary chirality parameter are found in the case where the other
parameters, i.e. permittivities epsilon and permeabilities mu, fulfill
the special condition mu(2)/mu(1) = epsilon(2)/epsilon(1). In this ca
se exact images can be found with the help of the theory for isotropic
half spaces because the wavefields at such an interface do not couple
. A vertical electric dipole (VED) near an interface of isotropic and
chiral half space is given as an example.
