Abstract
Biotransformation of thujopsene (1) using a cell suspension culture of Cara gana chamlagu for 14 days gave mayurone (2, 52%) and two new compounds, 3 b eta -hydroxy-4-thujopsene (4, 16%) and 3 beta -epoxythujopsa-5 beta -ol(3, 22%).
