Abstract
Chloride ion conduction in PbCl2-PbO system, PbCl2(1-x)Ox (x = 0-0.67), was examined. Electrical conductivities were measured in air below 400 degrees C. It was found that 3PbCl(2). 2PbO phase has high conductivity. From chang es in current, mass and crystal phases during electrolytic polarization, ch loride ion conduction was confirmed in this compound. (C) 2001 Elsevier Sci ence Ltd. All rights reserved.
