Abstract
The interaction of a cationic polymer of sulfonylpiperidinylmethylene hydroxide with anions of sulfophthalein dyes was studied. The formatio n of ion associates of the polycation with anionic forms of Bromopheno l Blue, Phenol Red, and Pyrocatechol Violet of the stoichiometric comp ositions 1 : 1 and 1 : 2 was found. A procedure for determining this c ation was developed with the aim of monitoring the process of Its synt hesis.
