Abstract
Thirty-one ascomycetes from seven north temperate lakes in Wisconsin are de scribed and illustrated. Among these, one discomycete, Aquadiscula clavispo ra sp. nov., four pyrenomycetes, Aquadulciospora rhomboidia gen. et sp. nov ., Saccardoella allequashensis sp. nov., S. horizontalis sp. nov., S. lacus tris sp. nov., and one loculoascomycete, Pseudotrichia allequashensis sp. n ov., are new Twelve species are reported from freshwater for the first time .
