Abstract
One of the greatest challenges to any surgeon is the introperative det ection and surgical management of duodenal and pancreatic injuries. A uniform approach to the surgical exposure of all suspected pancreatic and duodenal injuries will decrease their morbidity and mortality by i dentifying all injuries. proper intraoperative assessment and grading will help with procedure selection from the broad surgical armamentari um available to manage these injuries.
