Abstract
The nestling of Na+ within the oligooxaethylene frame of the switchable dip orphyrin receptor 1Zn results in an allosteric effect on the binding of dit opic amines, and remarkably influences the ligand-induced chiroptic propert ies of the assembly upon inclusion of chiral ditopic guests.
