In a quasi-two-dimensional p-wave superconductor there are six degenerated
Cooper pairing states within the weak-coupling approach. We show that a fee
dback effect lifts the degeneracy and supports the so-called chiral p-wave
state. The anomalous coupling between charge and current in a system with b
roken time reversal symmetry and parity causes this effect. (C) 2001 Elsevi
