The behavior of geometrical resonances in a two-dimensional electron gas wi
th a square lattice of antidots leading to the commensurability oscillation
s of magnetoresistance was studied in tilted magnetic fields. It was found
that application of a strong in-plain magnetic field H, shifts the position
of the main commensurability peak to the lower perpendicular magnetic fiel
ds H-z(peak). At sufficiently high in-plain magnetic fields H-x similar to
10 T the relative shift reaches 12%. The results obtained are explained by
the change of the electron energy spectrum at strong H,, resulting in the c
hange of effective mass of the electron in the gamma direction. (C) 2001 El
