Abstract
Exact solutions of the focussing Davey-Stewartson II equation are presented , which describe the interaction of N-lumps with a line soliton. These solu tions are constructed by analysing the inverse spectral problem of the asso ciated Lax pair. The dynamical properties of these solutions are also discu ssed. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V.
