Abstract
Matrix equations associated with the KP equation are considered and a kind
of special solutions of them are found. The asymptotical behavior of the so
lutions along any direction is discussed and a sufficient condition for a s
olution vanishing along this direction is provided. Interaction between sol
utions of two different types can be represented by the solution. (C) 2001
