Ev. Anufrieva et al., Stability of complexes of Tb3+ with derivatives of N-acylaminobenzoic acids in water and organic solvents, POLYM SCI A, 43(5), 2001, pp. 560-565
Copolymers of N-alkylmethacrylamides with various isomers of N-methacryloyl
aminobenzoic acid and their low-molecular-mass "models" were synthesized. T
hese compounds were used to prepare complexes with Tb3+ ions in order to as
sess the "polymer effect" on the intensity of luminescence and stability of
these complexes in solution. The stability of the produced complexes was d
etermined using a polymer competitor and studying evolution in the intensit
y of luminescence of a complex solution during transition of Tb3+ ions from
copolymer or "model" to the polymer competitor. The effects of the content
of Tb3+ ions in solution, the structure of copolymer, and the isomer struc
ture of N-acyl derivatives of aminobenzoic acid on the stability of the res
ulting complexes were studied.
