Abstract
We report a case of Hughes syndrome 1 week after the occurrence of chickenp ox. The patient presented with the clinical picture of acute right iliofemo ropopliteal deep vein thrombosis. IgM and IgG anticardiolipin (aCL) were bo th positive upon admission. The IgM aCL antibodies were still positive 6 we eks later, which suggests their role as a predisposing factor of deep vein thrombosis.
