Abstract
Constrictotermes cyphergaster (Isoptera, Termitidae, Nasutitermitinae) buil ds arboreal nests in "Cerrado stricto sensu" in Brazil and these nests are frequently cohabited by inquiline termites and by termitophiles. The presen ce of termitophiles occurred mainly in larger nests. Thirty nests presented termitophiles, and the most abundant were Corotoca melantho (Coleoptera: S taphylinidae), caterpillars (Lepidoptera: Geometridae) and ants (Hymenopter a: Formicidae).
