Abstract
Raman spectroscopy was applied as an accurate general method for determinat
ion of the charge on BO (rho). Two C=C stretching modes of BO, (a(g)) nu (2
) and nu (3), linearly correlate with rho in the region 0 less than or equa
l to rho less than or equal to 2. Features of BO complexes with organic acc
eptors are discussed.
