Abstract
The preparation of some organic conductors, based on pyrazino-r-dimethyleth ylenedithiotetrathiafulvalene and ethylenedioxy-r-dimethyl ethylenedithiote trathiafulvalene as donor molecules (where r means a racemic mixture of dim ethylethylene-group) and linear anions, i.e., AuBr2, AuI2, IBr2 I-3 etc, is reported. X-ray crystal structure solution shows that the compounds belong in the tau -phase. The results of transport and other properties are compa red to those obtained from similar compounds with an S-S configuration in t he donor molecules.
