Abstract
Conducting organic composites obtained by direct solid-solid charge-transfe r reaction between bis(ethylenedithio)tetrathiafulvalene (BEDT-TTF or short er ET) and iodides AuI or AuI3 present metallic behaviour for appropriate s toichiometry and appropriate grinding and annealing conditions. X-ray diffr actograms, Raman spectra and d.c, electrical conductivity measurements of t hese composites are discussed and compared with those of (ET)(2)/I-3. The c omplex structure of the investigated composites is suggested.
