K. Nishimura et al., Preparation of conductive charge transfer complexes containing polynitrophenolates (TNBP, picrate, trinitroresorcinolate), SYNTH METAL, 120(1-3), 2001, pp. 911-912
A variety of charge transfer complexes were prepared between TTF-series don
or and polynitrophenolate anions using tetranitrobiphenyldiolate (TNBP2-),
picrate (Pic(-)) and trinitroresorcinolate (TNR2-). Two novel ET complexes,
(ET)(2)(Pic(-))(THF) and (ET)(2)(HTNR-). are semiconductive and ET layers
construct alpha " -type packing, The magnetic susceptibility of (ET)(2)(Pid
)(THF) follows the alternating chain model in the high temperature range. T
he TNBP2- complex with TMTSF and TMTTF exhibit novel stacking pattern in wh
ich one-dimentinal (1-D) donor column is surrounded on all sides by the ani
on columns. The molecular plane of TNBP2- is parallel to the 1-D donor colu
mn. Mixed-stack CT complexes of H2TNBP, (TTF)(H2TNBP) and (DBTTF)(H2TNBP),
were also obtained.
