Abstract
A novel dimerized Ni-dithiolene complex, (n-Bu4N)(2)[Ni(dmit)(i-mnt)](2), w as synthesized and characterized by X-ray structure analysis. In this compl ex two [Ni(dmit)(i-mnt)l units were mutually connected by two long axial Ni -S bonds. The single crystals of BEDT-TTF and TTF salts with [Ni(dmit)(i-mn t)](2)(2-) were prepared by electrocrystallization and characterized by X-r ay analysis. The Ni-S bonds of each dimer were also retained in both salts. Both salts exhibited semiconducting behavior with the room-temperature res istivity rho (rt) / Omega cm = 10(2), 10(3), respectively.
