Abstract
Factors are analyzed theoretically which influence gain saturation and outp ut pulse shape in "SHENGGUANG II" main amplifier. Using a set of eigenvalue s,we discuss the differences among the factors' influences upon the output pulse shape. A scheme is proposed to control output pulse shape,which could adjust the output energy continuously in some range at the same time.
