Abstract
The O-specific polysaccharide (OPS) was isolated by mild-acid degradation o f the lipopolysaccharide of Vibrio cholerae O9 and studied by carboxyl redu ction, sugar and methylation analyses, Smith degradation, and two-dimension al NMR spectroscopy, including COSY, TOCSY, NOESY, and H-detected H-1,C-13 HMQC experiments.
