Abstract
A number of methods have been devised for the biopsy of intracaval tumour m asses but all risk damage to the cava and tumour dissemination. We report o n a case in which the tumour mass was almost entirely within the superior v ena cave and describe an 'endoscopic' technique for biopsy. (C) 2001 Elsevi er Science B.V. All rights reserved.
