Pi. Woolfson et al., Left cervical aortic arch associated with pseudocoarctation and aortic andmitral regurgitation: one-stage surgical repair, EUR J CAR-T, 19(5), 2001, pp. 726-728
Cervical aortic arch is rare with a prevalence of less than 1/10 000 live b
irths (Pediatr Cardiol 10 (1989) 205); but may occur with other cardiovascu
lar congenital abnormalities. We report pseudocoarctation of a left-sided c
ervical aortic arch with an aberrant right subclavian artery and aortic and
mitral regurgitation, corrected by an anterior mediastinal shunt from asce
nding to descending aorta and aortic and mitral valve replacements, as a on
e-stage procedure. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
