Nm. Berezhnaya et al., Significance of expression of CD54, CD25, proliferating cell antigens, andIgM in tumor cells and lymphocytes for their interactions in vitro, EXP ONCOL, 23(1), 2001, pp. 66-70
The role of the expression of proliferating cell antigen, CD54, CD25, and I
gM in the interaction of lymphocytes of distant and regional lymph nodes wi
th tumor cells was studied upon analysis of MH-rabdomyosarcoma growth and m
ethylcholanthrene-induced tumorigenesis. Antitumor activity of regional lym
ph node lymphocytes was higher than antitumor activity of distant lymph nod
e lymphocytes. Such an activity was more pronounced in case of transplantab
le MH-rabdomyosarcoma. This antitumor activity correlated with expression o
f CD54 and IgM on lymphocytes of mice with MH-rabdomyosarcoma and with prol
iferating cell antigen expression on lymphocytes of mice with methylcholant
hrene-induced tumors.
