F. De Corte et al., The validation of Kayzero-assisted NAA in Budapest, Rez, and Ljubljana viathe analysis of three BCR certified reference materials, FRESEN J AN, 370(1), 2001, pp. 38-41
After installation and calibration of k(0)-assisted NAA in three Central Eu
ropean research institutes (AEKI-Budapest, NPI-Rez. and IJS, Ljubljana), it
s validation was established via the analysis of three BCR certified refere
nce materials. The matrices of choice were: CRM 277 estuarine sediment, CRM
038 coal fly ash from pulverized coal, and CRM 101 spruce needles. For som
e elements, e.g. Zn, Cd, and Hg, the analyses were not only performed instr
umentally (INAA), but also in the radiochemical mode (RNAA). The work was p
erformed in the framework of a European Copernicus Project.
