Abstract
The anode-microdischarge treatment of a pentadecane emulsion in a carbonate electrolyte (with an Al anode) leads to decomposition of pentadecane yield ing hydrogen, carbon monoxide, gaseous hydrocarbons, and an insoluble resid ue. The mechanism of the process is discussed.
