Abstract
Dicyanomethylene fluoroarenes, in which interaction between non-bonding ele ctrons of fluorine atom and one of CN groups is expected, have been prepare d and their H-1 and C-13(H) NMR spectra have been measured and interpreted in terms of 'through-space' F-19,C-13 coupling.
