Exclusive nonleptonic decays of B mesons - art. no. 114002

The energetic exclusive two-body nonleptonic decays of B mesons are investi gated in the relativistic independent quark model based on the confining po tential in scalar-vector harmonic form within the factorization approximati on. The branching ratios for B decays to PP and PV channels with at least o ne charm meson in the final states are calculated from Lorentz invariant fo rm factors and meson decay constants. The model predictions are found to be in reasonable agreement with the available experimental data.
