ENV 10247 - The new method of determining the non-metallic inclusion content of steels using photographic tables

In this article, a new method of determining the non-metallic inclusion con tent of such steels with the aid of a series of photographic tables is pres ented. The principle and reference to standard photographic tables is not n ew, and is made use of in a number of existing standards. What is new howev er is the strict mathematical sequencing of the series of standard referenc e pictures and the number of ways in which these can be evaluated.
