Abstract
Unnatural synthetic substrates with a properly spaced prosthetic modifier h aving non-ionic hydroxy terminus undergoes soybean lipoxygenase catalysed a symmetric peroxidation followed by horseradish peroxidase induced reduction affords (Z, E)-diene-diol in high enantiomeric excess.
