Abstract
A comparative study on the nucleophilic displacement of homoallylic tosylat es with different degrees of hindrance and rigidity is reported. pi Bond pa rticipation is favoured by hindrance and rigidity, and also by weak nucleop hiles such as water or dimethylformamide.
