Digital real-time simulation of power transformer by means of a suitable integration method

Contents A real-time simulation model of a three-phase double-winding Y-0/D elta 11 power transformer and its numerical integration method are presente d. In addition, the electromagnetic transient of the inrush phenomenon is s imulated, too, which occurs when the transformer is switched to the zero-lo ad circuits, as well as the case of the normal-loaded state. The simulation results on a PC show that the model and the numerical integration method a re feasible and realizable in real-time on a PC.
