Abstract
Results are reported from the analysis of a series of laser ablated YB CO thin films grown in 100 and 400 mTorr of oxygen with repetition rat es between 5 and 15 Hz at a large substrate-target distance. VSM and R ES channelling results confirm the good superconducting and crystallin e properties of the films, and AFM results show that more slowly grown films still contain significant amounts of undesirable surface featur es.
