Abstract
Percutaneous pelvic fixation stabilizes pelvic ring disruptions without ext ensive pelvic dissection. For this reason, these anterior and posterior per cutaneous pelvic fixation techniques allow acute and definitive treatment. Successful percutaneous pelvic fixation techniques depend on accurate close d reduction, excellent intraoperative fluoroscopic imaging, and detailed pr eoperative planning. Early pelvic stability diminishes haemorrhage, provide s patient comfort, and allows early patient mobilization from recumbency.
