Abstract
In this paper we are dealing with the dynamical properties of the Jacobian elliptic functions, cosine-amplitude and sine-amplitude. Seen as one parame ter dynamical systems, they present a flip type bifurcation at the origin. In fact they are particular cases of some general families of functions hol ding sufficient conditions we call degenerate.
