Optical reflectivity spectra are studied for single crystals of a pero
vskite-related 3d(1) correlated metallic system Ca1-xSrxVO3. The measu
rement is made at room temperature between 0.03 and 40 eV. In the opti
cal conductivity spectra a Drude-like contribution peaked at omega = 0
and other two contributions, which may be associated with Hubbard ban
d and a quasiparticle band at E-F, are observed below 5 eV. The infini
te-dimension Hubbard model seems to reproduce the observed features in
CaVO3. However, the evolution of these features on varying the value
of x is not exactly what we expect from the model.
