Abstract
The Gen-Probe amplified Mycobacterium tuberculosis direct test can give dis crepant results directly in respiratory or cultured samples from patients i nfected with Mycobacterium celatum, leading to inappropriate therapy for, i n our case, an immunocompetent patient.
