By substituting Y for Er in Er1-xYxCo2 the metamagnetic behaviour of t
he itinerant d subsystem vanishes beyond a critical concentration x(cr
). For Er0.6Y0.4Co2 where x approximate to x(cr) two separate magnetic
ordering temperatures are detected by means of specific heat, thermal
expansion and electrical resistivity measurements.
