Separation and purification of meliacin butenolides from Trichilia estipulata by normal-phase HPLC

Meliacin butenolides mixture was isolated from the dichloromethane extract of the stem bark of Trichilia estipulata L. as their acetylated derivatives . The separation and purification of gamma -hydroxy butenolides and their e pimeric acetylated derivatives have been successfully performed by normal-p hase high performance liquid chromatography.
