Abstract
Neurofibromatosis 1 is an autosomal dominant disorder characterized by dist inctive clinical problems including scoliosis and malignant peripheral nerv e sheath tumors. We present two cases of retroperitoneal malignant peripher al nerve sheath tumor associated with scoliosis in neurofibromatosis. Prese nce of spinal deformity resulted in delay of the diagnosis of the sarcoma.
