Abstract
The effect of the external magnetic field on the wake potential of a test d ust particulate due to ion-sound waves in a dusty plasma with streaming ion s is determined. The result shows that the amplitude of the wake potential is significantly reduced because the overshielding by streaming ions is inh ibited by the presence of the external magnetic field.
