Abstract
The hot luminescence (HL) spectrum from optically excited F centers nearby thermal equilibrium during lattice relaxation, which is hidden behind an or dinary luminescence (OL) band, has been detected using picosecond time-reso lved polarization spectroscopy on KCl. The experimental result is compared with the HL spectrum simulated numerically on the basis of a simple two-lev el model.
