Abstract
In this paper, the law of variation of the strengths of cryogenic austeniti c steels with temperature and alloying elements is studied. Based on a larg e number of experimental data, a series of regression expressions have been obtained by calculating on a computer: sigma (300)(0.2) = sigma (0)(0.2) + f(Me); sigma (300)(0.2) = sigma (300)(0 .2) exp[A(300 - T)]; sigma (300)(b) = sigma (0)(b) + f(Me); sigma (b) = sig ma (300)(b) exp[B(300 - T)]. The results of the calculation prove to be satisfactory after verification. These results are applicable to the strength calculation and designs of cr yogenic austenitic steels.
