Abstract
The direction of ridge of thermal conductivity contours in a ternary gamma ' -Ni3Al phase agrees with that of solubility lobe of gamma ' phase in a te rnary phase diagram. The classification of third elements based on the ridg e direction does not always agree between ternary Ni3Al and NiAl phases. (C ) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
