Abstract
Two bambusicolous species of the genus Hypocrella are reported and describe d from southwestern China. One of them is identified as a new species, name ly Hypocrella tenuispora. Its diagnosis and illustrations are given and dif ferences from other similar species are discussed. Another species, H. bamb usae, is re-described in detail based upon Chinese collections. Both specie s are endemic in southeastern Asia.
