Abstract
By minimizing the quadratic-biquadratic local quality functional, a general -form operation algorithm for an electronic tracking system is synthesized. The algorithm allows for the fast elimination of the initial target lock-o n errors and, simultaneously, provides a high steady-state tracking accurac y. As an example, the synthesis of a tracking system for a radar range find er is considered. The simulation results are presented.
