Abstract
Electron transfer chain processes leading to regioselective homolytic terr- butylations for highly electron-deficient benzene derivatives, such as difl uorinated acylbenzenes and benzonitriles was established with tert-butylmer cury chloride in the presence of 1,4diazabicyclo[2.2.2]octane.
