Abstract
KrF laser-induced photolysis of gaseous (C2H5)(2)M (M = Se, Te) compounds i s shown to be a one-photon process controlled by the cleavage of both C-M b onds. It is dominated by the molecular elimination of ethene and yields ele mental selenium and tellurium. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights re served.
